RGCB’s Clinical Study Aims to Unlock the Potential of Cellular Meditation in Cancer Treatment

The Rajiv Gandhi Centre for Biotechnology (RGCB) in Thiruvananthapuram is set to embark on a groundbreaking clinical study focused on cellular meditation and its potential benefits for cancer patients.

In a collaborative effort with the Regional Cancer Centre (RCC) and Satsang Foundation Kerala Kendra, RGCB aims to delve deep into cellular mediations and establish the intricate mechanisms of action through which yoga may positively impact individualized cancer care.

The tripartite proposal, unveiled on the occasion of International Yoga Day, involves the coordination of clinical aspects by RCC, led by Dr. Rekha A Nair, while the Satsang Foundation will prescribe standardized yoga practices. Leveraging its expertise in biotechnology research, RGCB will play a pivotal role in unraveling the cellular mechanisms underlying the therapeutic benefits of yoga.

Highlighting the significance of this collaboration, Prof. Chandrabhas Narayana, Director of RGCB, emphasized the tremendous potential of this initiative and the promising prospects it holds for the future. The process presents a potential gateway toward unraveling the intricate cellular processes that may be influenced by yoga practices. By unraveling these mechanisms, the study seeks to uncover the potential benefits of yoga as an adjunct therapy for cancer patients.

The pursuit of cellular meditation marks an exciting frontier in healthcare, where ancient wisdom intersects with cutting-edge research. RGCB’s ambitious study holds the promise of unlocking the profound benefits of yoga, opening doors to innovative and personalized approaches in cancer care that nurture the body, mind, and spirit of patients on a cellular level.
